Un orangután defiende su bosque, al fin de cuentas su casa, ante el avance de una máquina excavadora. El conmovedor video fue filmado en la isla de Borneo, Indonesia.

El video fue difundido esta semana por International Animal Rescue, una organización animalista sin fines de lucro. “Este orangután desesperado busca frenéticamente refugio del poder destructivo de la excavadora, una máquina que ya ha diezmado todo a su alrededor”, escribió la organización en su página de Facebook.

El orangután pretende detener el vehículo al intentar agarrarse de la excavadora. Pero la lucha es dispar y el animal cae antes de que pueda engancharse a la máquina. Posteriormente, un miembro de la Unidad de Protección de Orangutanes de International Animal Rescue recoge con éxito al orangután y luego lo traslada a un lugar seguro.
